This editioned tableware collection was created for Ballroom Marfa’s 2023 Summer Party in collaboration with Carla Fernández.

Sol Cerámica is the ceramic brand of sculptor Daniela Solís, who uses traditional Mexican techniques to create contemporary ceramic works. Her Erotic Figures series, including a symbolic tea set inspired by prehistoric Venus figurines and Paleolithic phallic sculptures, explores the origins of humanity and evolving social norms.

Carla Fernández and her team travel throughout Mexico to collaborate directly with artisan communities using centuries-old indigenous techniques to create new works.
