Ballroom Marfa is pleased to offer Prada Marfa, 2020, a limited
edition photograph by noted West Texas photographer James Evans. This edition has been produced to mark the 15th year anniversary of Prada Marfa and to capture the evolution of the iconic sculpture. The photograph is available in two distinct sizes and editions. A large 40 x 53in image in an edition of 25, and a 15  x 20in image in an edition of 50.

Conceived by the Berlin-based Elmgreen & Dragset and co-produced by Ballroom Marfa and Art Production Fund, Prada Marfa is seated squarely in the most public of American spaces: along an empty stretch of highway, 35 miles west of Marfa near Valentine, Texas.

Prada Marfa draws strongly on pop art and land art – two art forms which were conceived and thrived especially in the USA from the 1960’s and onwards. It is a living sculpture, an installation that has taken on a life of its own, becoming part of the cultural and physical landscape of Far West Texas.
